![]() ![]() Not helped by the frankly awful track that makes overtakes near impossible, this race will not be remembered in a few weeks, even by the most devoted Verstappen fans. The midfield provided all the overtakes with the majority of them being on struggling Ferrari’s but the usually brilliant battle for third in the constructors was anti climatic with Perez suffering a technical failure. Despite Verstappen taking his only pole of the seasons with both Mercs behind, the race quickly turned into a stalemate at the front.
